๐ŸŽ‡โœจ๐ŸŽ‡ We all start the year thinking itโ€™s time for change and we jump head-first into creating impossible resolutions for ourselves. We all see the gyms getting super busy at the beginning of January. ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ

๐Ÿคณ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ Full of people with high hopes in terms of fitness goals. But if youโ€™re not resilient. If youโ€™re not the type to keep up with your ideas. And most importantly if you donโ€™t like sports. Chances are you will not be anywhere near the gym past St Valentine’s day.

๐Ÿ˜“๐Ÿ˜จ๐Ÿ˜ฐ๐Ÿฅด The last thing you need to start the year is to put pressure on yourself. Having goals is great, having a plan and support to achieve them is better. Life is a marathon, not a sprint. ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ

You need to treat it as such to make durable improvements. With everything going on in the world, you donโ€™t have to add more reasons to be unhappy. ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ 80% of new year’s resolutions fail.๐Ÿ‘ˆ๐Ÿผ What a way to drown your self-confidence right at the beginning of the year.

1. Practice positive affirmations to up your inner dialogue

2. Start journaling, it can be about anything:

  • A dream journal
  • Your intentions for the day
  • Your plan to reach your goals
  • Your deep thoughts etc…

The uses are endless. Make it your own and see how it helps you become more aware of so many things in your life.

3. Have a quiet lunch

Every day, I try to take the time to eat a full meal and relax. I understand it’s not always possible. But even when I was employed, I often chose to eat alone to avoid mealtime debates and think about something else than work.

4. Practice Gratitude

The best thing to become happier is to focus on what you have: I am grateful that I could hear a bird singing while waking up this morning Iโ€™m grateful I have a job a love so much etc …

  • Iโ€™m grateful my partner cooked us a lovely dinner and I could just rest after work

5. Listen to Guided Meditations
